2025 Cut Flower Collection: Lisianthus **On-Farm Pick-up**
Lisianthus is one of our much loved flowers from the farm. Customers LOVE them, because of their gorgeous shape and ability to last a long time in a vase as a cut flower. Up to three weeks! They look similar to roses, but don’t have the fragrance that a rose would carry. They’re ruffly and amazing!
Because of multiple customer requests last year, we’re putting together a collection of our best lisianthus plants from the farm into a plant share for pick-up on the farm early-May (email with details at the end of April).
Details:
A collection of 12 lisianthus cut flower plant starts: $65
Included will be 3-4 varieties with 3- 4 plants each. There will be different varieties and colors to make up the 12 plant starts. These beautiful flowers require full sun, or at least 6 hours each day, in order to grow to flowering m
Lisianthus takes a long time to grow and seed cultivation is also much more expensive than typical plants, so the pricing for this package reflects those considerations. If you plant your lisis soon after pick-up, you can expect to have flowers around August; and then again in late September.
Plants come in a deep cell tray, the perfect size for planting straight into the garden. Since we are growing these plants for you from seed or cuttings that may not produce as planned, PepperHarrow reserves the right to substitute varieties as needed. Plants will be hardened off so you can plant immediately into your garden without any additional care.
SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE.
Plants will be ready for pick up the first Saturday of May when the spring weather becomes stable enough for planting straight into the garden. You will receive an email with the pick up details in late-April once we see how the spring weather is unfolding. Pick up will take place at PepperHarrow Farm: 1809 S 4th Ave in Winterset.
No refunds are available once your order has been placed. We spend several months growing these plants and put them on reserve once you've placed your order. Therefore we can not offer any refunds if you are unable to pick up your Share for any reason.
